Container for sugar, flour and traditional cultural expressions?
I bought the cartridge storage for plastic packaging Mate for my blood sugar, flour, meal, Powered Brown Sugar and sugar. I am a great baker. I've scored and put the purchase date on each cartridge so I know if I need to replace as I cook seasonally. My question now is, I made cookies and use the sugar and flour. I was in a hurry and do not wash the cans before adding the new in Is this a problem? Do I need to wash again before adding to the cost? Only curous. Thanks for the helpful answers ….
Firstly you sound Like me, labeling and dating. Right on! Finally … if you have all used, then you really need not worry. It also seems that you has done enough for the kitchen you do not have flour and sugar dragging on for years at a time. If you cook once a year, or a holiday, then I will buy the flour fresh sugar anyway so you can be assured of fresh ingredients. However, if you leave the kitchen oven gloves every two months, no worry by the washing of containers. The next time you use something and you have the time to give them a good wash.
