Foods That Shrink Belly Fat – Myth Vs Truth

If you feel people pussyfoot around the food items you can and cannot eat to shrink belly fat, despair no more. Here come hard to the core answers.

There is no food item that will magically burn belly fat. This answer might surprise you. However, we are not to bend the truth. However, if you watch your food, you can reduce if not eliminate unwanted from your body. The key is to give your body fewer calories than it burns. Before I tell you what to eat, I will tell you what not to eat.

The items to avoid are:

  • Any processed food – anything prepared with processed flour
  • Fast food
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Pork
  • High-fat dairy products

I know it is difficult to avoid these items, especially the items like burgers. You can eat them. However, keep in mind they are not conductive to your health. Do not imagine for a second that these items are OK. They will give you an unhealthy body.

Now, what to eat to shrink belly fat

    As said earlier, there isn’t a magic pill to burn fat. You can however, include the following food items into your daily diet. They are rich in nutrients. They do not put fat-burdens into your body.

  • Oatmeal
  • With lot of soluble fiber and nutrients, oatmeal is a helpful item to shrink your belly fat. Eat oatmeal without sugar. Maybe, eat some fruits with your oatmeal.

  • Egg
  • Egg is a good source of protein, has less fat, and is a good meal. It does not put cholesterol into the blood as doctors believed until recently.

  • Wholegrain Food Items
  • Refined flour is nothing but wholegrain flours with all the nutrients and dietary fibers removed. Use wholegrain instead. It is the surefire way to promote digestion and better metabolism.

Other items to include in your diet are:

  • Lean meat
  • Salmon, tuna, and other fish items
  • Olive oil
  • Low-fat milk, buttermilk, yogurt
  • Dry fruits

Telling you once again – these food items don’t burn fat from your body. The advantage these food items have is that they provide you all the nutrients you need, without adding fat. Your body will still get fat.

Exercises and physical activity alone will burn body fat. The low fat, nutritious diet will prevent further accumulation of fat. However, you also need to make sure you burn more calories than you consume. Cardio exercises like running, swimming, and dancing will promote fat-metabolism and burns fat. Abs exercises or core exercises will help you strengthen core and provide better balance to your body.

Was this a healthy day of eating?

I feel like I ate a little too much but maybe I didn’t. Please let me know!

Breakfast: Oatmeal, water

Snack: salad, orange

Lunch: Cheese sandwich, 4 strawberries

Snack: lettuce, shredded cheese, italian dressing wrapped in a tortilla

Dinner: Veggie burger, cheese mashed potatoes (not a lot, they were gross)

Snack: 2 popsicles (35 cals each)

I’m trying to lose weight AND be healthy. I also walked about an hour today with some light running mixed in.

Do Hamburger Patties need eggs and oatmeal to stay together?

This summer I want to make my own patties after reading that burger patties that you buy frozen are not all 100 ground beef.

I remember trying to make my own along time ago but the always fell apart, I used egg and oatmeal.

A Friend just told me I don’t need egg, crumbs or oatmeal.

He’s said he just adds a salt and pepper and makes patties out of it and they stay together. Just get ground beef with fat in it.

Is this ture I don’t need to add egg or bread cumbs?
