
If I replace wheat flour for white flour, what else should I do?
This is the first time I am with wheat flour baking whole. My usual recipe is banana bread: 2 cups white flour 1 teaspoon baking soda pinch of tea salt 1 / 2 cup butter 3/4th cup brown sugar 2 eggs 1 cup teaspoon vanilla 5 bananas then substitute for wheat flour, white flour should I add to my recipe?
When substitute for white wheat – usually a little more butter – but in this case maybe an extra tablespoon – but in reality I just replace cup for cup and goes well – especially baked goods – probably would not be substituted cup for cup a recipe for yeasted bread, would a mixed white wheat or have a recipe with wheat flour – but I believe the use of only 2 C wheat flour will be fine.
